The 9 of February of 1947, I am made for the first time the Celebration of the Wheat, organized by the Club Lions D.A.S and B. like tribute to the producers of the zone.
In 1949, the celebration is declared of Provincial Interest, concurring to same the representatives of Marcos Juarez, High Cross, Green Island and the Flowing ones.
In 1951 I am made the First Sample of Wheat, with the participation of fifty offerers, who exposed best products harvested in the Republic.
In 1956 it attends for the first time President of the Nation, the Tte. Gral. Pedro Aramburu. That same year is decreed that the first Sunday of the month of March of every year the National Celebration of the Wheat was celebrated, in the locality of Lions, Province of Cordova.
From always, the Celebration to generated the interest of numerous offerers, like thus also visitors of all parts of the country.
From the 10 to the 13 of February of 2000 44ª will be made National Celebration of the Wheat under the motto “Celebrating the spirit of the man of Field”. The program prevee the Wheat Days, that will include Friday 11 to char it technical related to the production of wheat in a continuous system of direct sowing in charge of AAPRESID technicians. For Saturday 12 different organizations will disertarán about the political, economic situation, and financier of the wheat production. It is predicted the representation of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Cattle ranch and Fishing of the Nation, Secretariat of Agriculture, Cattle ranch and Renewable Resources of Cordova, Agrarian Federation Argentina, the Rural Society, Association of Cooperatives, CONINAGRO, Argentine Rural Confederations, APOSGRAN, Camera of Millers, Stock market and Cereals, and the INTA among others.

In addition to attractive the traditional ones, the clasp of the renovation will give the floral pavilion it, a sector never seen in Lions in a warm space of 400 square meters filled with aesthetically distributed exotic plants and station between bridges, cascades, pergolas and sources.
